The Eastern & Oriental Express is a luxury train operating between Singapore and Bangkok. This itinerary includes stays in both Singapore and Bangkok, with a stop along the way on the famous River Kwai.
Day 1: Arrival
Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow to Singapore with British Airways/Qantas.
Days 2, 3 & 4: Singapore
Arrive in Singapore, where you stay for three nights. This contemporary city with its spectacular buildings is enhanced by touches of its colonial past.There is much to see and do—beautiful botanical gardens, museums, galleries and, of course, shopping—which is practically a national pastime.Day 5 & 6: Eastern & Oriental Express
Depart late morning on the Eastern & Oriental Express for the two-night journey to Bangkok (Pullman Superior). Stops are made to visit Georgetown—the capital of Penang—and the River Kwai.Day 7 & 8: Eastern & Oriental Express
Arrive and transfer to your chosen hotel.Thailand’s capital city offers spectacular temples, colourful markets and a superb range of restaurants serving the very best in Thai cuisine. Optional tours, such as a visit to the Grand Palace, or Jim Thomson’s House—the home of Thai silk—are available. Please ask for details.Days 9 & 10: Departure
Return to London, arriving at London Heathrow on Day 10.
Lunch, dinner and overnight on board.

Presidential Suite
Each Presidential Suite measures 125 sq ft (11.6 sq m.). The cabins are styled as a private lounge during the day with banquette style sofa and fixed chair, and two moveable chairs. Fixed daytime seating converts to two single beds at night. A separate en suite shower, washbasin and WC is provided.Guests in Presidential Suites enjoy the additional benefit of a complimentary bar in their cabin.

State Cabin
The E&O has 28 State Cabins which measure 84 square feet (7.8 square metres). A private lounge during the day with banquette style sofa and fixed chair, and one moveable chair. Fixed daytime seating converts to two single beds at night. A separate en suite shower, washbasin and WC is provided.Facilities include:

Pullman Superior Cabin
The E&O has 36 Pullman Superior Cabins which measure 62 square feet (5.8 square metres). During the daytime the compartment is a private lounge provided by banquette style sofa. At night the seating converts to an upper and lower bed. A separate en suite shower, washbasin and WC is provided.Facilities include:
