Itinerary
Day 1: Calgary
Transfer to Fairmont Palliser Hotel (Gold Level). Private reception in Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion, then dinner in Rimrock Dining Room.Day 2: Banff; Spiral Tunnels
After breakfast, board Royal Canadian Pacific, traveling through the Canadian Rockies. Stop in Banff for guided tour, then Lake Louise for hike with naturalist. Enjoy scenery across Continental Divide, through famous Spiral Tunnels to Field, then along Kicking Horse River Valley.Day 3: Eagle’s Eye Mountain; Cranbrook
Motorcoach to Kicking Horse Resort for gondola ride to Eagle Eye’s Restaurant for breakfast with 360-degree view of Rockies. Return to train and head through Columbia River Valley to Cranbrook for private tour of Canadian Museum of Rail Travel.
Day 4: Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump
Train gently descends to Alberta prairies for visit to Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Lethbridge for crossing of High Level Bridge.Day 5: Okotoks
Short train ride to Okotoks. Transfer to Homeplace Ranch, unique feature of high cattle country since 1912. Enjoy guided horseback tour or scenic walk of family-owned ranch. Return to Calgary, transfer to Gold Level floor of Fairmont Palliser Hotel. Dinner at hotel’s Rimrock Dining Room.Day 6: Calgary
Transfer included to airport.
