The Society offers two types of tours:
~ Signature Series ~
Signature Series Tours are IRT's exclusive custom-crafted, rail-based group tours. They feature a professional, full-time Society tour leader; a small, congenial group of fellow Society travelers; four- and five-star accommodation; baggage handling; most meals; most gratuities; and special amenities, events and prices for Society members.Click here to view our 2006 Signature Series tours.
Each year, Society owners Eleanor and Owen Hardy jointly accompany an especially exciting, unusual or exclusive Signature Series tour, allowing them to greet personally new IRT Society members as well as to welcome back old friends. Click here to view our 2007 Owners' Choice Tour.
~ Explorer Series ~
IRT's Explorer Series offers a variety of rail- and cruise-based tours operated by travel partners who have been meticulously selected by The Society and on which we have reserved exclusive cabins for our members.
