DAILY ITINERARYDay 1: Vladivostok
Passengers are met at Vladivostok airport and transferred to the four-star Hotel Hyundai for a one-night stay. Welcome reception dinner.
Day 2: Vladivostok
Today’s city tour includes the major military attractions of this once "closed-to-foreigners" city. An evening departure of our private Trans-Siberian Express train.
Day 3 : Khabarovsk
After our morning arrival in Khabarovsk we visit the Natural History Museum by the Amur River. We reboard the train and head west, never far from the Chinese border, and enjoy the relaxed pace on board.
Day 4 : En-route
A full day spent on the train where you can fully enjoy the comfort, space and service available.
Day 5 : Ulan Ude
Afternoon arrival in Ulan Ude, capital of the Buryat Republic. A fascinating change of people and faces greet us as we tour the colorful Buddhist Temple and travel by coach to the Village of Old Believers. Enjoy a concert featuring local dancers and musicians.
Day 6 : UlaanBaatar
Morning arrival in the capital of Mongolia, UlaanBaatar. We visit the National History Museum. Lunch in Yurt restaurant. Free time in the afternoon or an optional visit to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. This evening we reboard our train and return to Russia.
Day 7: On board
A full day on board allows guests to sit back and relax, enjoying the vews of the Baikal region.
Day 8: Baikal
A fantastic day’s adventure as we wind our way through tunnels and around cliffs along the shoreline of the world’s largest freshwater lake, Lake Baikal. We stop at one of the bays and have a barbeque off the train at the water’s edge. We then visit Listvyanka, a small Baikal village nestled at the base of the surrounding hills. We return to the train for dinner and an evening departure.
Day 9: Irkutsk
Morning arrival in Irkutsk, the "Paris of Siberia." Our full-day tour includes many of the major sights and museums. Take special note of the classic wooden architecture in this area.
Day 10: On board
Heading west, we spend another day on board our private train. Passing Krasnoyarsk we are above Burma, Thailand and Malaysia.
Day 11: Novosibirsk
We stop in this modern "Soviet" city where we visit the famous Opera House, Lenin Square & River Ob, which flows 3,500 miles from its source to the Arctic.
Day 12: Yekaterinburg
Yekaterinburg, last city in Asia and capital of the Urals. Our city tour includes the Romanov execution site/memorial and the Urals Mineralogical Museum. Return to the train and cross the Europe/Asia divide shortly after departure.
Day 13: Kazan
We spend the day in Kazan, the beautiful capital of Tatarstan located on the Volga River.
Day 14: Moscow
Mid-morning arrival in Moscow. We spend the full day touring the amazing sites of this vibrant city, including Red Square and the Kremlin. We transfer to our five-star hotel for a one-night stay. We will have our farewell gala dinner and reception in St. Basil’s Cathedral.
Day 15: Moscow
After a sumptuous breakfast in the hotel, enjoy free time in the rapidly-changing Russian capital. Airport transfers provided for passengers connecting to international flights.

Accommodation on the "Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian Express":
First-class sleepers are modern air-conditioned cars built in Germany. They are cozy and comfortable, and provide an ideal method of transport for the remote areas of Russia that we visit. Classes offered on board:New Heritage Class:
New Heritage class carriages have nine compartments & two toilets (one at each end of the carriage). Each compartment has two bunk beds, with the lower bed wider than the usual Heritage twin bed; sink and wardrobe. Purpose-built shower cars are included for New Heritage Class passengers.
Silver Class:
Silver Class carriages have six compartments each with private en-suite facilities (power shower, toilet and sink). Silver Class compartments feature underfloor heating, DVD/CD player, audio system, individual air conditioning, recessed lighting and wardrobe space. There is a wide lower bed, as well as an upper twin bed.
Gold Class:
Gold Class compartments are the most luxurious and spacious on the train. Amenities are similar to the Silver Class compartments, but the Gold Class cabins are larger. Gold Class carriages have only five compartments per car, each with en-suite facilities (the shower is larger in Gold Class than Silver).

Heritage Class ("Siberian Tiger" only):
Heritage class carriages have nine compartments. Toilet facilities are located at the end of each carriage. Heritage class compartments have two lower beds that convert to couches for daytime use. A purpose-built shower car is included for Heritage Class passengers.Gold Class:
