Day 1: London – Keighley

Board the Britannic Explorer at London Victoria Station in the mid-afternoon and settle into your suite.

Enjoy a Cumbrian Afternoon Tea as the train travels through the heart of England, winding through Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, and South Yorkshire.

In the evening, make your way to The Bar to mingle with your fellow guests over a selection of signature cocktails before an exquisite dinner in one of the dining cars.

Enjoy a peaceful night as the train stables at the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.

Day 2: Keighley – Workington – Penrith – Appleby

Savor a leisurely brunch on board as the train travels through the beautiful landscapes of the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park before heading up the west coast, where you can admire the views out to the Irish Sea.

In the early afternoon, arrive at Workington, your gateway to the Lake District. Disembark and join a chauffeured journey to the Lingholm Estate, a Grade II listed Victorian mansion on the edge of Derwentwater Lake. From here, choose from an exclusive list of adventures: a row across the lake, guided open-water swim, scenic hike around the fells, or relaxing lawn games.

Rejoin the train at Penrith for dinner and entertainment on board. The train stables overnight on the Settle & Carlisle line.

Day 3: Appleby – Oxfordshire

Breakfast is served as the train follows England’s scenic Settle & Carlisle line, crossing the famous Ribblehead Viaduct and passing through the stunning Peak District.

Arrive in Oxfordshire for a visit to Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, A Belmond Hotel and Chef Raymond Blanc’s esteemed manor. A black-tie dinner in the two-Michelin-starred Belle Époque dining room offers garden-to-table cuisine.

After an elegant evening, return to the Britannic Explorer for a restful night in The Chilterns.

Day 4: Oxfordshire – London

Breakfast is served as the train travels back to London through the picturesque landscapes of Oxfordshire. Arrive at Victoria Station early in the morning where your journey ends.
