Explore Venice at your leisure, or enhance your trip with an exclusive experience that includes a guided boat tour along the Grand Canal, followed by a gala dinner and live entertainment. Enjoy quaint Portofino with its shops and delicious cafes.
Return to Rome Ostiense, where you will be privately transferred to your hotel of choice (we highly recommend the new Orient Express La Minerva hotel).

Itinerary
Day 1: Rome – Venice
Private transfer in the morning from your Rome hotel to the exclusive lounge at Rome Ostiense Station. Board La Dolce Vita Orient Express.
Indulge in a gourmet lunch in the dining car while enjoying the scenic views of the Italian countryside.
Arrive in Venice in the late afternoon where you can enjoy some free time to explore the city on your own. Alternatively, choose from several optional curated experiences at additional cost.
Rejoin the train later in the evening to continue towards Portofino. Enjoy evening live entertainment on board.

Day 2: Venice – Portofino
Enjoy breakfast on board as you arrive in Santa Margherita Ligure station.
Disembark to transfer by road a short while, then private yacht to Portofino for your day at leisure around this small port town.
In the evening, rejoin the train for an elegant dinner and entertainment.

Day 3: Portofino – Rome
After a delicious breakfast onboard, arrive back to Rome Ostiense train station in the morning where you disembark the train. Your butler will handle your luggage. La Dolce Vita team will arrange your included private transfer to your Rome hotel.
